Better than their last album, but still has some of the same issues. It’s clear Ben can’t scream like he used to (natural with age) so writing angry songs that require it is definitely a challenge. Ian’s guitar work is back to being awesome on this album. None of the songs sound the same and some of his most unique riffs come on this album. The problem is song writing wise they didn’t hit their stride. They’ve got some good songs but others just seem generic lyrically.
